Technical cookies
“Technical” cookies are essential for the correct functioning of Sites and allow users to navigate Sites and take advantage of their characteristics (for example allow the memorization of preceding actions and allow the user session to be saved and/or to carry out other activities that are specifically necessary to the functioning of the Sites).
“Analytical” cookies also belong to this category and they help Unopiù S.p.A. to understand how users interact with the Sites, supplying information regarding the last page visited, the number of sections and pages visited, the time spent on the Sites and every event that emerged during navigation, like for example a mistaken message, and help to understand every difficulty that the user encounters using the Sites. This information could be associated to user details like IP, dominion or browser addresses; however, they are analyzed together with information of other users in such a way as to not identify one specific user from another. These cookies are gathered and aggregated in an anonymous way and allow Unopiù S.p.A. to improve Site performances.
Finally, “functionality” cookies allow the Sites to remember user choices (for example the name of the user) to furnish this person with more personal and better navigation. Functional cookies are not indispensable to the functioning of the Sites, but they improve the quality and navigation experience. If you don’t accept these cookies the performance and functionality of the Sites could be inferior and access to Site contents could be limited.

Profiling Cookies
“Targeting” or “profiling” cookies are used to present content that is more suited to the user and his interests. They can be used to see targeted publicity, to publish personalized publicity information based on the interests of the user or to limit the number of times the user sights a publicity. They also help to measure the effectiveness of the publicity campaigns of the Sites; Unopiù S.p.A. could use these cookies to remember the Sites the user has visited and share this information with third parties, including agencies and advertisers who could use their own cookies to collect information on the activities carried out by users on the Sites.
“Sharing” cookies (or social networks) are necessary to allow the user to interact with the Sites through his own social account and serve, for example, to express appreciation or to share it with his related social contacts.
The Unopiù S.p.A. Sites use or can use, also in combinations of the same, cookies:
“session” that are memorized on the user’s computer for simple techno-functional purposes, for the transmission of session identification necessary to permit safe and efficient exploration of the site; they are cancelled at the end of the “session” (thus the name) with the closure of the browser;
“persistent” that remain memorized on the computer hard disc until they expire or are cancelled by the user. Through persistant cookies users who access the sites (or possible other users operating the same computer) are automatically recognized every visit.
Third party cookies
When a user utilizes the Sites it is possible that some cookies that are not controlled by Unopiù S.p.A. are memorized. For example this happens if the user visits a page that contains third party web site content. Consequently the user will receive cookies from this third party service. Unopiù S.p.A. has no control over the cookies that supply information to third party cookies and has no access to this data. This information is totally controlled by the third company in accordance with what has been described in the respective privacy policy.
The table that follows shows third party cookies present on Unopiù S.p.A. Sites. They are under direct and exclusive responsability of the third party manager and are subdivided into the following macro-catagories:
Analytical: are the cookies used to collect and analyze statistical information on accesses/visits to the web site. In some cases, associated with other information such as the credentials inserted for access to reserved areas (one’s e-mail address and password), they can be used to profile the user (personal habits, sites visited, information downloaded, type of interaction carried out, etc.,).
Widgets. All graphic components of an interface user of a program fall into this category, with the purpose of facilitating the user in his interaction with the program (as an example widgets are Facebook, Google+, Twitter cookies).

Google Analytics – the Sites include components of Google Analytics, a service that analyses web traffic supplied by Google Inc. Also in this case we are dealing with third party cookies managed in an anymous fashion to monitor and improve the performance of the guest site (performance cookie).
Google Analytics uses “cookies” to anonymously collect and analyze information on the behaviour of the use of Sites (including the IP address of the user). This information is collected by Google Analytics who elaborates it to draw up reports for Unopiù S.p.A. operators regarding the activity on these web sites. This site does not use (and does not consent third parties to use) Google analysis instruments to monitor or collect personal identifitying information. Google does not associate the IP address with any other data possessed by Google nor does it seek to connect an IP address with the identity of a user. Google can also comunicate this information to third parties where this is imposed by law or where such third parties process this information on behalf of Google.

Google Adwords / Remarketing – The Sites also use the remarketing function in Google AdWords of Google Inc, 1600 Anfiteatro Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (following "Google").
The remarketing function allows Unopiù S.p.A. to present announcements based on the interests of the site users on other sites within the Google publicity network (for example on Google itself, so-called “Google announcements”, or on other sites). Interactions of users with the Site are analyzed for this purpose, particularly what interests the user, in order to be able to show publicity targeted to users even after they have visited the Sites on other pages. For this purpose, Google memorizes the cookies in the browser of users that visit specific services or Google web sites in the Google site network. Visits by these users are registered through this cookie. This number is then used to identify a web browser on a partiular computer and not to identify the person; the personal data are not memorized. The user can block the cookie settings by setting the browser software. The user can also de-activate the use of cookies on the part of Google following the following link and installing the plug-in present therein: For further information on Google Adwords and the Google Privacy Policy, visit the site:
Google Adwords / Conversion Tracking – the Sites also use conversion tracking of Google Adwords of Google Inc, 1600 anfiteatro Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (following "Google"). When you click on a Google announcement, a conversion monitor cookie is set up on your computer. These cookies expire after 30 days, do not contain personal data and are therefore not used for personal identification. If the user visits some pages of the Sites and the cookies have not yet expired, Google and Unopiù S.p.A. can recognize that the user has clicked on the announcement and was readdressed to the pages of the Sites. Every Google AdWords client receives a different cookie. Consequently, the cookies cannot be traced through the web sites of AdWords clients. Information collected using the conversion cookie is utilized to generate conversion statistics for Adwords clients who have opted for conversion monitoring. Adwords clients see the total number of users who have clicked on their announcement and have been redirected to a page with a conversion monitoring tag. However, they will not receive any information to personally identify the users. The user can prevent the setting of cookies by setting the browser software.
The user can de-activate the use of Google cookies following the link below and installing the plug-in present therein: For further information on Google Adwords and the Google Privacy Policy, visit the site:
